Phantom Limb is the fourth studio album by the band Pig Destroyer, released on June 12, 2007 in the United States and June 18 in the rest of the world. The album was released on CD and LP. Vocalist JR Hayes said the line up of 14 songs are "the most deranged metal songs we could come up with". The album cover art was done by John Baizley. All lyrics written by J. R. Hayes. J. Phantom Limb is the story of two brothers and lifelong best friends. Hey guys! I am in my studio all this week working on the album! I've been finding it hard to manage anything faster than a snail's pace, so I'm taking some time off work to dedicate to this project. tentatively titled, "Getting it Right. If he could, he'd kill me for leaking it early. So instead, here's a small sample off my phone.

The Phantom Limbs were a post-punk/deathrock band formed in Oakland, CA in 1999. The group combined the unusual keyboard-driven compositions of Stevenson Sedgwick with an aggressive, punk-influenced rhythm section and a very odd singer, Loto 'Hopeless' Ball, whose howled lyrics and unpredictable stage behavior quickly gained them an infamous reputation in the SF Bay Area.
