A fantastic release. Diana Ross' version of 'Love Hangover' is just amazing. The song starts off as a ballad, beautifully sung with emotion and feeling. Accompanied by Gamble and Huff style strings and keys. Then about a third of the way in it switches tempo and turns into a full on disco track. At almost eight minutes long it's never quite enough and it leaves you with the feeling of wanting more. The reverse is a Gamble and Huff production featuring Thelma Houston on vocals. Another beautifully sung song reminding us why the Motown label was of such high importance.
