Clavier Concerto In D Minor (BWV. 1052). Piano Concerto No. 2 In F Minor, Op. 21. 1. Maestoso. Bach, Chopin - Vladimir Ashkenazy, David Zinman, London Symphony Orchestra. Bach, Chopin - Vladimir Ashkenazy, David Zinman, London Symphony Orchestra - Concerto In D Minor, Concerto No. 2 In F Minor ‎(LP, Album).

The Piano Concerto No. 21, is a piano concerto composed by Frédéric Chopin in 1829. Chopin wrote the piece before he had finished his formal education, at around 20 years of age. It was first performed on 17 March 1830, in Warsaw, Poland, with the composer as soloist. It was the second of his piano concertos to be published (after the Piano Concerto No. 1), and so was designated as "No. 2", even though it was written first.

Bach: Concerto in D minor; Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor.

1 (Bach); Harpsichord Concerto in D minor, BWV 1052. Bach, Johann Sebastian. Arranged from the lost Violin Concerto in D minor, BWV 1052R. Bach Digital (source list).

Frédéric Chopin composed his Piano Concerto No. 2 In F Minor in 1829-1830. It was actually the first piano concerto that he composed but was published second. He was 19 years old and had completed a course of study with Józef Elsner at the Warsaw Conservatory. Chopin performed the work in March of 1830 at his Warsaw debut. It was also the work he performed at his Paris debut in 1832 with musical dignitaries such as Berlioz, Liszt and Rossini in the audience. Chopin was not happy on the concert platform and played very few concerts in his short life.

Chopin - Piano Concerto n. in f minor (1830). What I find so interesting about Chopin is that he is almost an anti-Romantic. What I mean is, in a time where pianists were writing difficult pieces to dazzle audiences and go on concert tours around Europe, Chopin rejected the concert stage light.

Philharmonia Orchestra, Edwin Fischer – Piano Concerto No. 20 in D Minor, K. 466 . 7:50. Philharmonia Orchestra, Edwin Fischer – Piano Concerto No. 46. 4:00. Edwin Fischer/Edwin Fischer Chamber Orchestra – Bach Keyboard Concerto No. 1 in D Minor, BW. :29. Vladimir Ashkenazy, London Symphony Orchestra, David Zinman – 2. Adagio (piano performance). Andr s Schiff, Chamber Orchestra Of Europe – 3. Allegro.

Piano Concerto N. In F Minor, O. 1: Larghetto - Chopin. 6. Piano Concerto N. 1: Allegro vivace - Chopin. Performer: Vladimir Ashkenazy. Orchestra: London Symphony Orchestra. Conductor: David Zinman, Lorin Maazel. Composer: Frederic Chopin, Pyotr Il'yich Tchaikovsky. Audio CD (November 30, 1999). Zinman is slightly more recessed in the aural picture than Maazel was, but not to a damaging extent, and again Ashkenazy's phrasing and tonal beauty are totally winning, even if one would like the piano just a bit further back. There are many other fine performances of these concertos, but these musicians in their youths are worth adding to your collection.
