Hello, everyone! A bit late, but I`m doing my June Birchbox unboxing. Birchbox is a subscription I was into a few years ago but cancelled for a while. Their boxes were getting a bit repetitive, and I also had to be more strict with my budget. So what made me resubscribe? Well, I just liked the box the products came in. And to be honest, the content wasn`t too shabby either.
Although it was a tiny sample, I loved “The Porefessional Pearl Primer” from Benefit. I had the original version, but I prefer this one. It gives you a nice glow, whilst still keeping the oiliness at bay. There were two more makeup products as well, an eyeliner from Model Co. and an eyeshadow from Ella Eden. Personally, I prefer makeup samples to skincare samples, so I am happy with what they sent.
One product that surprised me was the Smoothing Balm from N.4. I tried it three times so far, and I can already see a difference with my hair. It`s definitely smoother, with fewer tangles and frizz. Also, even though you have to apply it on damp hair, it does not seem to weight it down.
Not that sure what to think of the last two products. I mean, a face sun cream is always a nice addition in the summer. Due to its high SPF, I’ll probably take it on holiday with me. Everyone also got tea, which I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea (pun intended). I do like tea, so I am not really complaining. But I would have prefered something else; not going to lie. Because I saw a code on Facebook, I also got a lipgloss from Smith&Cult.
Overall, I am happy with the content and so far I want to keep my subscription. I did have some delivery problems cause Hermes is terrible, but hopefully, next time it will go without a hitch.
