Autumn Playlist

As promised in my Autumn Bucket List post, my Fall playlist in here. This is the upgraded version, as I did a similar post two years ago. Whilst I won`t mention those songs, I still love them just as much. I mean, November Rain is such a classic, I`ll never get tired of that song. “Iron and Wine” still are one of my favourite bands and I cannot believe how underrated they are. I have all the love in the world for Bon Iver and Daughter. But like I said, this post is about new beginnings.

I don`t think it`s a secret that I listen to rock, everything from classic to alternative and indie. I`ll probably sing a pop or R&B song every now and then, but not the actual ones. I rarely like the music that`s on the radio now and I don`t say that just to sound pretentious. But they`re all the same. Same beats, same lyrics, same almost naked girls. It`s a free world and everyone likes different things, so I respect your opinions. And I don`t judge because I know many people will find the music that I listen to too depressive or too loud, etc. But hey, if you like music that makes you question your life, this is for you. If you want songs that will put you in a chill and relaxed mood, check these out.

  • Castro – Diamond Dreams
  • Birdy – Skinny Love (thanks TVD for the best soundtrack)
  • Lord Huron – The Night We Met (not a fan of 13 Reasons Why, but it had a nice soundtrack)
  • Kodaline – High Hopes (go Sir Davos)
  • Seafret – Oceans (nice video cameo by Arya Stark)
  • Retro Culture – Thread
  • Oh Wonder – Shark
  • Raye – Hotbox
  • Lauv – Come Back Home
  • Matt Woods – In The Dark
  • Norah Jones – Don`t Know Why
  • Jack Johnson – Better Together
  • Placebo – Protege Moi
  • Radiohead- I Promise
  • Daughtry – September
  • The Band Perry – If I Die Young
  • Willy Poldd – To Just Sail Away
  • Cookhouse – Made It Fly
  • Jesse Taylor – Mountains

I have around 100-150 songs in all my seasonal playlists, but naming all would get boring. And besides some big names, most of them are obscure bands that most people don`t know. But if you go on Youtube and type Chill Indie Playlist you`ll find hundreds of results. Who knows? Maybe you`ll become and indie music lover as well.

P.S. I am back in a few days, catch ya then!
