The Body Shop Skinny Felt Eyeliner Review

I have been blogging for a while now, and it`s been a hell of a ride. Beauty blogging means that you are tempted to buy every new release and eat bagels and still water for a week, until your next payday. On top of that, your room probably looks like the warehouse for Boots or Sephora. Yes, beauty blogging meant a lot of unnecessary purchases for me, but it also taught me a thing or two. I now know how to contour, highlight and even use eyeliner. I can probably do a perfect flick 5-6 times per year, but let`s not get tangled in details. For months, my go-to product was Supercat from Soap&Glory, but I wanted to try something different, so I got this little guy from The Body Shop.

This eyeliner is very easy to use and even if you`re not the most precise person, you can still draw an even line. It does last for a couple of good hours, around 6-7, without smudging. I got the black version, and it is very pigmented, with somewhat of a glossy finish. I quite like that, to be honest, but there are a lot of other problems with this product. First of all, it`s not waterproof, and that`s an inconvenience for my watery eyes. I also live in London and 5 out of 7 days, it`s raining, so I have to be very careful when I use this. Also, while it does not smudge, it does take a while to dry completely out, so that`s another inconvenience for me.

Overall, I am not that impressed with this eyeliner. I know it`s only 10£, but you can find cheaper and better alternatives. It`s a shame to be honest because I really like the finish, but the fact that it`s not waterproof is a deal breaker for me.

I think I`ll buy Supercat again, but if you have any other recommendations for a drugstore eyeliner, don`t hesitate to tell me. Also, let me know if you`ve tried this product before and if you liked it or not.

I love Body Shop products, they have not disappointed me once but I haven't tried many on makeup, mostly skincare products! :)YiotaPinkDaisyLoves

I've never tried any of the Body Shop's makeup apart from the primer which is quite good (doesn't make your makeup last forever but lets other makeup apply smoothly).Aleeha xXxhttp://www.halesaaw.com/

That's a pity as I use Supercat too but I've been looking for a similar drugstore dupe with a little more pigment. I've heard amazing things about the Loreal liquid eyeliners too.Roxie | The Beautiful Bluebird

Shame this eyeliner didn't really work out for you! I can definietly relate to what you said about beauty blogging making you spend way too much money on beauty products… Before I started my blog, my makeup collection wasn't very big, and now I eye up new purchases every month! xKayhttp://www.shoesandglitter.com/
