After one month of holiday, I`m back. I know I promised you I`ll blog my Paris trip, but when you are on your late honeymoon in one of the most romantic places on Earth, you kinda need a break from social media. You need time to admire all the beauty that surrounds you, from gorgeous public gardens to grand buildings and countless works of art. You want to enjoy your coffee and croissant without checking every 5 minutes if someone likes your Instagram pic. So both my husband and I were on an Internet banter and we had the time of our life. The weather was amazing, it was sunny all week, something quite strange for people used to London weather. The food was great, the people we meet were all lovely and overall it was an amazing experience. My favourite part was when we went to Montmartre and I actually did a full post on that, you can find it here if you are curious.
Like I said, one thing I absolutely loved about Paris is that it`s full of gorgeous public gardens, which are beautifully decorated with statues, flowers and fountains. French people come here to chill, to bathe in the sunlight and if they`re lucky, even to listen to some music because sometimes you can see orchestras performing outdoor concerts.
Paris is quite an expensive city and you have to pay for most of the attractions. However, admiring the buildings from outside won`t cost you a penny and you`ll find so many styles, from gothic to baroque.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand this is the view from the Eiffel Tower. I won`t really describe it, it`s something you need to see for yourself because pictures can`t really capture its entire beauty. Definitely worth the long wait!
These last photos are from our hotel in Montmartre, which not only was cheap but was spacious, clean and well decorated. The view was really nice, you could see Sacre Coeur in the back. The only problem was the noise on the street, but that`s the risk when you stay in the quarter that was known as the quarter of artists.
