I love Sundays! As a sales assistant, that means I have to work, but I also finish my schedule earlier and have some me time. That means I can recharge my batteries, contemplate on what I have to do next week and just forget about the stress for a few moments. Sunday is the day when I can put my pajamas at 19.00, make a hot chocolate and do some reading or a Netflix marathon, depending on how tired I am. If it was a busy day, then I probably watch something, but most of the time I like to catch up with my reading list.
The first thing I like to do is take a bath or a shower, again depending on how tired I am. I got this gorgeous bottle of bubble bath foam from my mum and she removed all the labels, all I know it`s that it`s from Germany. It has a lovely rose scent and makes lots of bubbles. When I`ll finish it I’ll keep the bottle as a vase or something, it`s too cute to throw away. Now, I don`t know if this makes me a weirdo, but even if I take a bath, I still like to use a separate shower gel. At the moment I use one from Bayliss&Harding, I got it in a gift set and I love the fact that it smells like lavender, which is a very relaxing scent.
I never wash my hair while I take a bath (did that 2-3 times when it was a mess), I get cold easily and I just don`t like lying with wet hair. So after 10-15 minutes I get bored, get up and apply my face mask. Most of you know by now that I`m a face mask addict, but nothing sorts my skin out like Ren Invisible Pores Detox Mask…It`s a pricey one, but worth all the money because it leaves my skin clearer and softer. While I wait for my face mask to do its magic, I apply a body butter or lotion. At the moment, I love using The Sanctuary SPA Luxurious Body Butter, which has a very calming scent and leaves my skin super soft. I then remove my face mask with warm water and a muslin cloth, apply a bit of Vichy`s Normaderm Night Detox Cream and I`m good to go.
I always like to light candles, especially in the Autumn when the scent lingers on more. I normally prefer big ones and I got this from Marks&Spencer, which has a really nice collection. After all the preparation all there`s left to do is decide: movie or book? At the moment, I`m reading Four: A Divergent Collection by Veronica Roth, the action taking place 2 years prior to that in Divergent. (see what I did there, nerds?:))) I really like it, I was always intrigued by Four`s story and now I get the chance to know more. If I`m really tired, though, like I said, I`ll probably watch something on Netflix. I think I`ll start 90210, as a teen I was a big fan of the original one and thought Dylan was a babe.
So here`s my routine, more or less. Most of the time it`s the same, which shows what a boring life I have, but there are times when I go out for dinner or at a party. But enough about me, let me know in the comments what you like to do on your pamper day.
