Hello, everyone! Today I thought I`ll do something different and create a little wishlist for Autumn. Like I said on previous posts, I have mixed feeling about this season: I kinda love it, except for those annoying weeks when it rains all the time. (but this is England, what should I expect?!) However, one thing I absolutely love about Autumn is that I can go back to my jumpers and coats, which can hide the fact that I ate a large doughnut, therefore I won`t feel bad about it. I don`t know, I just feel that if you pick the right pieces, Autumn clothes will look flattering on anyone. You can pick basic things like jeans and a white top, but paired with a coat and a scarf this combination instantly looks cool and stylish. While you have to pay more than you would pay for summer clothes, I think that if you invest in key pieces, you`ll be set for a long time.
So today I`ll show you some of the pieces I want to buy this season. Obviously, I dream about a Burberry coat or a Michel Kors jacket, but I know they are way out of my budget. So I included only stuff from stores that I find affordable, hoping that in the future I`ll be able to get at least 60% of it.
I am obsessed with biker jackets, they remind me of my high-school days when I used to be a punk bad ass.
(or at least, I thought I was, but once a nerd, always a nerd) These jackets look good with everything, from jeans to pencil skirts. What I love about this jacket is the collar and the fact that it`s not too manly and edgy.
I am not a big fan of animal print and I think that it can look very tacky when it clashes with lots of prints. However, paired with a white shirt, a pair of skinny jeans and some loafers, I think that this will look very cool.
If you are like me and you could easily fit into a hobbit`s house, then finding a vest/gilet that looks good on you is a struggle. Most of the ones I find are either too long or baggy and it looks like I`m a kid wearing my mom`s clothes. I often buy stuff from New Look`s petite collection and as soon as I saw this, I knew I need it in my life. I mean, it`s so fluffy I`m gonna die!!!!!!
River Island Black Coated Panel Zip Leggings
Here comes the boring part, buying clothes for work. When you work in retail you have more liberty and creativity with your clothes than you would have at an office job, but then there`s the annoying part when you only have to wear black. These leggings have something that makes them stand out and they are not as boring as a regular pair of black jeans. Sold!
Zara Polka Dot Printed Blouse
At the moment, I`m obsessed with shirts and I love the fact that there`s a wide selection of prints out there, from floral ones to crazy patterns. However, polka dots have a special place in my heart.
H&M Beaded Sweatshirt
I don`t know, maybe I haven`t paid proper attention, but I haven`t seen many printed jumpers this season. While I have some simple sweatshirts that I pair with big jewelry, most of the times I prefer prints that speak for themselves. The beaded owl on this sweatshirt looks so cute, I think it might be my favourite piece out of everything.
Zara Short Corduroy Skirt
This will look so cute paired with over the knee boots and long jumpers, I can`t wait to grab one! The colour will go with pretty much everything and the material is warm enough for the colder days.
Aldo OLILASSA Over The Knee Boots
Believe it or not, I never actually owned a pair of over the knee boots before. Because I`m short most of the styles are too long for me. However, last week I saw a fashion blogger I follow rocking a pair similar to these and the best part is that she`s only 3cm taller than me, so if she could wear them, hopefully so could I. Fingers crossed, I really want a pair like this!
Topshop Floppy Wool Hat
Again, because I`m short I really hope this won`t make me look like an over-sized mushroom because floppy hats look so effortlessly cool. Add some flared jeans, heeled ankle boots, a boho shirt and you`re the next Sienna Miller. (positive thinking guys)
Just a basic everyday bag that`s big enough to fit your essentials: make-up bag, phone, umbrella, food, etc. I always end up having such a messy bag, so for me, there`s no point investing in a leather one. I buy a cheap one, wear it for a few months, then it goes away.
I hope you enjoyed this post and my picks. Let me know in the comments if you are planning to buy anything new for Autumn and what will it be.
