Hello, everyone! We`ve entered the last month of summer and everyone tries to take full advantage of it. Next week I`m going on my holiday and hopefully I`ll come back with a healthy glow, `cause truth be told, I hate looking like Casper`s sister. Oh well, until then I have to fake it with bronzers and other miracle lotions. Funny enough, the product I`m reviewing today is the first bronzer I ever tried, but after I mastered the tricks, I got better-looking versions and this ended up in a Neverland drawer.
The packaging is very simple, made of plastic, though for 2.99 you can`t expect much. It can break easily so it`s not great for travelling and even at home, you need to be very careful not to break it. However, while I don`t like the exterior, the product itself looks lovely. I like the mosaic pattern, it makes the bronzer stand out a bit.
I have this in shade 2 Radiant and from what I understood, there are matte and shimmery versions. This is the latter and it can easily be used as a highlighter as well. Strobing is a makeup trend that everyone talks about and I think a shimmery bronzer like this can really make a difference. I apply this mainly on my cheekbones and it gives a radiant finish. I don`t find it that pigmented compared to my other bronzers, but it does add an amazing healthy-looking glow. I definitely prefer using this as a highlighter, on top of my No7 or Bourjois bronzer. It applies really easy and the formula contains Vitamin E, which is beneficial for your skin.
Overall, while this is not the best product out there in terms of pigmentation, it`s a really lovely highlighter. Also, it`s great if you are a beginner because the colour is really subtle and you can`t go overboard with it.
