Next month I`ll go to Paris and then back home for a month, so I should start saving money, but I`m surrounded by shops that have sales. Luckily or not, in most clothing stores I can`t find my size anymore, it`s either extra small pieces or extra large ones, so I did not do that much damage in terms of fashion. But makeup is something else, it accepts you whether you are a size 2 or 18 and it`s just there to make you feel and look better.
KIKO always has some great sales, because everything that goes on sale is reduced by 50%. So yesterday I stumbled across a sea of bronzers, eye shadows and lip pencils, all wanting a new and loving house. However, I`m trying to actually finish my products, so I decided to go only for things that were missing from my collection. It`s not much, but they were all a bargain and I had to take them.
My first choice and probably the most surprising are these purple eye shadows. Yes, they look kinda brown in the pictures, but at the moment I don`t have a camera and my iPhone is a joke lately. Hopefully, when I`ll review them you`ll be able to see the exact colour. I normally wear brown/gold eyeshadows, but I wore purple on my wedding day and it looked lovely. These are very similar and the colour is hard to explain, it`s like a mix of burgundy and violet. They seem really pigmented and I can`t wait to try them. They were reduced to 4.40£, initially being 8.80£.
I also bought 2 lip pencils, one`s a soft shimmery pink and one`s a nude/brown colour. They seem quite creamy and they are easy to apply, can`t wait to see for how long they`ll stay on. These were 2.40£ originally but were reduced to 1.20£. The last item that I got was a gold eye pencil, which will look amazing this time of the year. This again looks really creamy and pigmented and was reduced to 2.40 if I remember correctly.
Like I said, I did not get many things, but they were all absolute bargains. Let me know what you think of these in the comments and feel free to recommend other products from KIKO.
