Super Facialist by Una Brennan Eye Cream Review

You know those brands that you see everywhere and yet they are extremely underrated?I think Super Facialist by Una Brennan is one of those. I`ve seen at least one of their products being featured in every skincare routine, from small bloggers to big names like Lily Pebbles. But the number of reviews I found was very low. Maybe because they don`t have a very big section, maybe because you can find the products only in a few places, who knows? I spotted their Neroli Firming Illuminate Eye Cream (longest name ever btw) in a TK Maxx last month and I found the packaging very cute, so I decided to give it a go.

After I did a small research on Google, I found out that neroli oil comes from the blossom of the bitter orange tree. The small search turned into an hour, in which I read all about the benefits of neroli oil. Apparently it works as an antidepressant, aphrodisiac and antispasmodic substance. In beauty, you can use it to treat acne, clean dirt, unclog pores and balance oil production. Not bad at all!

You might think that I`m 25 and I don`t need a firming eye cream, but I say it`s always better to prevent than to treat. After 3 weeks of using this, I must say, it`s the best eye cream I found in a drugstore. My biggest concern when it comes to my eye area is that it`s very puffy. I can get past dark circles, I know my way around concealers after all. But puffiness is something that you can`t hide! Well, I`m happy to report that this cream made an impact and the area looks a lot better. It helped reduce and puffiness and now I can look decent even if I have a Netflix marathon until 2 AM. Obviously, you can still see some sign, but I am quite happy with the result.

Another concern I have when it comes to my eye area is that it`s really sensitive. I can`t use products that contain alcohol or have a particular scent because I start to cry. This is fragrance-free luckily and I had no bad reactions. Sometimes because this area is so dry my makeup starts to flake, but this helped a lot and left my skin feeling soft and nourished. I don`t think it made it look brighter, but that`s OK. Like I said, puffiness is my biggest concern and as long as it reduced that, everything else is history.

You can find this cream at Boots, but I strongly recommend you check out your local TK Maxx because you`ll find it half priced there. I am curious, did you try this cream before? What other eye creams do you recommend?

Need to check this out! I've been loving the Kiehls creamy avocado eye treatment but it's a bit too heavy for me in the morning! Danielle's Beauty Blog

Definitely sounds like a really good eye cream, especially if it's reduced your puffiness by that much! The Velvet Black // UK Style & Beauty Blog
