Hello, everyone! At the moment I feel like shit, I have a massive cold, so sorry if this won`t be my best post. On top of that, I also got a breakout and a nasty cold sore. Does this happen to anyone else as well, does your skin start acting out during a cold? Anyway, I`ll do my best trying to write about beauty bits, even though I feel as pretty as Hulk when he`s angry and green.
Now, there were a lot of products I liked using this month, but I want to review some of them, so I don`t want to spoil anything. Next month I`m trying to post daily, it`s a little challenge I set for myself. That`s my main blogging goal for the moment, but I`ll be happy even if I do it 5 times a day.
Now, I`ll start with my most exciting purchase from June, a nail polish from Bourjois, in shade 26, Blue no Blues. If you`re a constant reader, you know I don`t like to buy nail polish, I settle for samples from beauty boxes or magazines. However, I never owned anything in this colour and I thought it would be perfect for summer. Also, I never tried anything with a gel texture and I must say, it`s a real revelation. I`m one of the clumsiest persons ever, I manage to somehow chip my nails in the first day. But I`ve been able to wear this for a week without any problems, it`s that good.
Sticking with Bourjois, I also got their Flower Perfection primer, which again has a silicone texture. Well, if it`s good enough for fake boobies, it`s good enough for your face. No? Moving on, I can`t make proper puns with a fever. Anyway, I really like this primer, it leaves my skin really smooth and the foundation looks better and lasts longer on top of this. If you want to know more, you can read my review here.
Speaking of foundation, this month I went for something with a light coverage. I think that in the summer your skin generally looks good, you don`t need to do a lot with it. I still want people to see my skin, I just want something to cover the redness and hide minor imperfections. I`ve really been loving the No7 Stay Perfect foundation, which is designed for people with combination skin. I wrote a post about it, you can get all the details here.
And last, but not least, some Lush goodies. When I wrote my post about my favourite bath bombs, some of you asked which one is my ultimate favourite. The answer is The Comforter and while I know it`s technically not a bath bomb, I`ll leave it in that category. It turns your water pink and it smells like blackcurrants, one of my favourite scents. It`s also a huge bar, so you can use it at least 4 times. Besides the bath bombs, I`m also a huge fan of their lip scrubs. This Bubblegum one reminds me of Snow Fairy and just like the others, it does a wonderful job at exfoliating your lips, without leaving them dry.
So these are my favourite beauty products from June. Tomorrow I`ll post about my favourite TV Shows, movies, basically, all the random stuff I loved this month, so stay tuned for that.
