Celebrate Father`s Day in Style*

One thing I love about living in Britain is discovering new traditions and holidays, that we don`t have in my country. I`ll be honest, we have lots of saints in Romania, but none of these holidays are fun unless you are 60. Anyway, this year I discovered Father`s Day and I think it`s one of the greatest things I came across in a while. I am a feminist, but I always thought celebrating only Mother`s Day is a bit unfair. Especially if you`re a girl, your bond with your dad is indestructible. I read a quote somewhere, saying that as a girl, even though you`ll be lucky enough to find your prince, your father will always remain the king. So why not show your old man how much he means to you, by buying him something special? At the moment, Debenhams has a lot of amazing offers, so there`s plenty to choose from. If you are a bit unsure, though, don`t worry, because I`ll show you 2 options that can`t go wrong.

Carven Eau de Toilette

My number one pick is an Eau de Toilette  from Carven. A brand founded in 1945 in Paris, nowadays has an incredible selection of luxury products, from clothes to perfumes. I`ve said it before and I`ll say it again, those french people really know how to live in style. This Eau de Toilette not only looks sophisticated, but it smells amazing as well. I would describe the scent like a mix of spicy and sweet, it`s just something that really stands out. At first, you sense the power trio of Nutmeg, Sage and Cedar, but if you give it time, you can also sense a touch of Sandalwood. The scent is strong without being overwhelming and lasts for really long, actually, I might even add that it gets better as time goes by, if that`s possible. You can get this from Debenham`s site, it costs 70 pounds for 100ml. The quality is amazing, so I think it` worth all the money and more. Find it here, just a small click to show your dad some love.

If you father already has a perfume collection that rivals Fragrance Shop, you can also get him a T-shirt from the Ben Sherman collection available at Debenhams. This is a British brand, meaning that even the most simple and casual piece will have a stylish twist. Basic pieces will always be timeless and will look classy in every combination. The material in these is 100% cotton, so they`re perfect for hot summer days. My pick is a Navy spotted button down polo shirt, that you can wear it dressed down or even to some formal occasions. At the moment, they`ve been reduced to 36 pounds, another great Father`s Day offer. You can get mine here or have a look at a different design.

I really hope that these suggestions helped you in the search for the perfect Father`s Day gift! Do you have any plans for that day? Is your old man excited about being the centre of attention?Let me know in the comments below.
