Hello, everyone. This is quite a random post because honestly I wasn`t planning on buying anything new. I went into Boots to buy cotton pads and I ended up with 5 more products #thestruggleisreal. But at the moment they have a really good offer: spend 15£ and you get a free gift. And the thing is, unlike other times, those products in the gift bag were carefully selected and are perfect for summer. Curious what you`ll get?See below:
I am rubbish at painting my nails and therefore never buy nail polishes, I live with what I get in beauty boxes and magazines. Which is actually a lot, I have around 40. However, a lot of my favourite beauty bloggers are in love with the Bourjois nail polishes, so I decided to give it a go. The shade I got, 26 Blue no blues, just screams summer. It`s the perfect turquoise colour and it will look amazing on anyone whether you are pale as a ghost or have a bit of tan. This is part of their 1seconde range and it`s perfect for those who don`t have the patience to wait for their nail varnish to dry.
The second thing that I got was their Flower Perfection primer, another product that looked perfect for summer. I did not read many reviews about this, I don`t know if it`s a new or an old product. The packaging is very cute and girly, the main reason why I bought it. This is a translucent primer and has the consistency of a gel/cream, it melts in your skin as soon as you apply it. I tested it in store, I liked how it felt on my skin and I can`t wait to try it on more. I`ll write a review soon.
And now the big reveal!(no, not the Who the Hell is A/Charles) Inside the Sunkiss Collection gift box, you`ll find 3 full-size products. My favourite has to be the Color Boost lip crayon in Peach on the Beach.I might be the only one that hasn`t tried these, everyone seems to love them, though, so I`m curious to see if I`ll like it more than my trusty Rimmel lip crayons. I already like the name, the colour and the fact that it has SPF 15.
You also get a giant bronzer and although the colour seems quite dark, they say it`s a universal shade that will match any skin tone, so I guess it all comes down to blending. Like all Bourjois bronzers, it smells like chocolate, so be ready for a sugar crave after you use it. The last product is a bronzer brush and I honestly can`t believe how bad this is. I mean, it looks really nice, but once you open it you instantly notice how hard the bristles are. The idea was very nice and useful, to include a brush that goes with the bronzer, but this is terrible.
What do you think of this gift, is it something that might tempt you?If so, what are you planning to buy from Bourjois?
P.S. You also get a 3.50£ off voucher, you can use it on some Bourjois foundations and it`s redeemable in Boots.
