If you would have told me a few years ago that I will have a blush addiction, I would have said you`re delusional. The idea of adding more colour to my already red cheeks seemed so wrong. But now I don`t suffer from redness and even if I get some difficult areas, I don`t how to make everything work to my advantage. From creams to liquid and powder formulas, I have tried everything. Or at least, I thought so because only now I can say I found my holy grail blush.
I read a lot of European beauty bloggers that swear by W7 products and from what I understood it`s a brand known for its high-end dupes. (kinda like Makeup Revolution, but overseas) However, I looked everywhere and I couldn`t find them anywhere. Which is so strange, because it says they are made in England. So can please someone sort this out for me? WHERE ARE THEY? Anyway, last week I was into a Poundland or Savers (I always confuse them) and I stumbled across some W7 products. Cheap beauty products that a lot of bloggers rave about? Sign me in. Unfortunately, I found only 4 products, so 99% of the collection is still unavailable for me. If you know any shops that sell them, please let me know.
The two blushes I picked were Galactic, a soft pink, and Orion, a bright orange/coral. First of all, let me tell you that these are the most pigmented products I ever tried. You can see from my swatch, one swirl is enough for an incredible colour payoff. I used Galactic daily, it gives me a nice natural flush and it even acts as a highlighter. Orion may seem too much, but if your are careful when you apply it, you can adjust the colour.
Now, I find the packaging really sweet, it`s simple but still girly. They are sturdy enough to carry in your purse and the mirror is perfect for adjusting small imperfections. I also like the name, Candy Blush, because it makes me think about happy things. One strange thing that I noticed is that they are scented, they smell like talc. Some people might not like it, but for me, this scent brings back good memories from when I was little and I started playing with my Grandma`s powders.
I think there are more shades in this collection and if you are lucky enough to find them, get them asap. The colours are perfect for Spring, they look fresh and vibrant and last for hours. As I said, I tried a lot of blushes, from high-end to drugstore, but at the moment, these are my favourite. The shades are really flattering and they have a bit of shimmer in them, so they also add a bit of glow.
Have you tried these before? What`s your favourite blush for Spring?
