Hello, everyone! I hope you`re all fine and enjoying the good weather. Yesterday I had my day off and I finally had some money (
the horror of being unemployed for 2 months), so I decided to refresh my wardrobe for the warmer days. I wanted to get soooooooooooooooooooo many things, but honestly, my wardrobe is full, so I decided to stick with essentials. This year I want to get only 1/3 of the things I like and try to save more money. Each year I buy so many clothes that look cute, but are never worn, it`s ridiculous. Here`s hope for a change! I will divide this post into 3 sections, showing what I got from Select, Primark and H&M separately.
This is quite a small shop, but they have some amazing things at reasonable prices. At the moment, you`ll find a wonderful selection of pastels, florals and 3d patterns, for all body types. I picked so many dresses, but I already have 60, so I had to leave them:(. Here`s what made the final cut, though:
In March, my Youtube subscription was full with Primark hauls. Zoella, Fleur, everyone was shopping from here. I saw a lot of things that got me excited, but then when I got in store and tried them, the happiness faded. I am a 1.55m girl with a small chest and a big bum and half of the clothes I saw were aimed at 1.70 m skinny girls. Now, I am very happy with my looks and also, unlike a girl in a very annoying song, I don`t call girls with a different figure than mine, skinny bitches. I wish, however, that stores would take into consideration the fact that there are short people on this Earth too, who are paying a fortune to get their clothes altered. Moving on to my second rant about Primark, a lot of the items I saw were (looked) like last season. I just did not see a creative new collection, to be honest.
After this, you will be quite surprised to see that most of the clothes I got were from Primark. Like I said, I needed basics. Also, considering the fact that I used to leave that place with 4 bags, you can see there were not many things that impressed me.
I saved the best for last! H&M has so many great items in their Spring collection, but they have a line, H&M loves Coachella, which is to die for. It`s like they`re selling Vanessa Hudgens` wardrobe. I am definitely going back for more after I can use my voucher. What`s this voucher I`m talking about? H&M Westfield gives you a 5pounds off voucher when you purchase something, valid from next week. Basically, if you spend 20 pounds, you`ll pay only 15.
So this is what I picked for Spring. What items did you add to your S/S collection? Will you get any of these? Let me know in the comments below.
