March Glossybox – Step into Spring

I`ll sound like a broken record, but I`ll remind you again that Spring is my favourite season and I can`t wait until the weather gets better, so I can bring out my floral arsenal. With this in mind, Glossybox delivered a box that caters to your needs, bringing you one step closer to sunny days and positive attitude.

Whenever I think about Spring, the first word that pops into my head is fresh, so no wonder the star product of the box is something that will make your skin glow. I am talking about the NAOBAY Moisturizing Peeling and all subscribers were lucky enough to get a full-size product worth 13.71 pounds. (you already have the cost of the box covered) I love the fact that this is an organic product, made with acai tree particles to remove dead skin cells and brighten the complexion. Also, an interesting detail, the cap is made of wood, more proof that we are dealing with an eco-brand. And did I tell you it`s not tested on animals either? Quite an amazing product I would say.

Besides your skin, another thing that people notice is the health of your hair and Glossybox has that covered as well. Inside the box, there were two 50 ml samples of Dove`s Advanced Hair Series, the Youthful Vitality Shampoo&Conditioner. The samples are a decent size, you definitely can use them a couple of times to see if it will work for you or not. Although I am still in my mid-twenties, I am very curious to see how they will perform. Apparently this range replenishes hair`s lost nutrients, leaving it stronger, sleeker and looking twice as thick.

In a previous post, I told how bad I am at buying new nail polishes, so I`m always happy when I spot one inside one of my beauty boxes. This month I got a full-size sample from ncLA, in the shade Like…Totally Valley Girl. I must say, out of all the beauty products, nail polishes get the funniest names, so kudos for that. I did not hear from this brand before, but I like the fact that their varnishes are free of toxins. The neon pink shade is extremely cute and I`ll be wearing it a lot.

The other two products I got were full-size samples as well. One was from Essence, the Lash Princess Volume Mascara, and the other one was from Carmex, the Moisture Plus Ultra Hydrating Lip Balm. I am a lip balm hoarder, so this is definitely a nice addition to my growing collection. I am a bit unsure of the mascara, though. I heard a lot of good things about Essence makeup, but what I tried was quite rubbish. Hopefully, this mascara is part of their good stuff.

So this is what I got this month from Glossybox. The cost of the full-size products is 34.50 pounds, amazing considering you pay only ten pounds per box. A lot of the products you might find them in the drugstore, but I`ll take a full-size sample of that anytime instead of a 5 ml sample from a luxury brand I probably can`t afford.

Spoiler alert: next month all subscribers will get Lord&Berry Crayon Lipstick, in a red shade that I find very similar to one of the Nars lip crayons. Can`t wait!
