Makeup Revolution Haul

From time to time a new brand enters the beauty stage like a storm and it`s on everyone`s lips. Makeup Revolution seems to be loved for various reasons – some like the cheap prices, some like the fact that is not tested on animals or others love it simply for their Iconic palettes, an incredible dupe after the Naked palettes. As a big MUA fan, I was extremely excited to try another promising brand, that mixes really low prices with really good quality. Why did I wait so long then? When it comes to makeup, as much as I love something, I can`t get a good idea from a picture, I need to test it myself. Now, I work in Westfield Stratford so obviously I thought the Superdrug in there will bring the collection as soon as possible. WRONG! So I had to go online and let’s just say it was a mix experience, but more on that later. For now, I`ll show you the best 15 pounds investment in my life.

The Salvation Palette: What you Waiting for?

Like it says there, why did I wait so long? This is the product that actually made me interested in this brand. I fell in love with this eyeshadow palette when I read Cristina`s review on her blog, My Cup Of Tea. This is my favourite and I`ll do a review as soon as possible, so no spoilers for now. Let’s just say it`s a mix of 6 matte eye shadows and 12 shimmery ones, all with individual names: Wicked Style, Sex Chromosome, Take a Chance, etc. Of course, it`s a mix of neutrals, so you can create the perfect smokey eye, and the colour range goes from beige to pinks to browns and black. Review Thursday!

Redemption Palette Iconic 3

In case you were wondering how many eye shadow palettes with neutral colours a girl needs, the answer is AS MANY AS POSSIBLE. Now this is the dupe after the Naked 3 one and although I haven`t tried that one, I highly recommend buying this palette. You get 12 gorgeous shades, a mix of matte and shimmery colours, that go from a beige/creamy colour similar to a primer, to gold, taupe and brown. You can create so many different looks and at 4 pounds you`d be crazy not to buy it. I`ll do a review this week if I have the time.

Vivid Baked Blusher Loved me the Best

This is the part where it gets tricky. I mean, with eyeshadow palettes it`s easy, you`ll definitely find some colours to suit you in there. But with blushers, bronzers or foundation, it`s not that easy, you need to see how they look on you…Again, thanks to my local Superdrug, I did not have this option! So I decided to get the ones with the names I found interesting:)) The shade is a bit too much for me, hopefully, I`ll get the courage to try it.

Vivid Baked Bronzer Fame

Doesn`t it look stunning in this photo? However, when applied it looks more gold than tan, so I`m not so sure. Maybe I`ll use it as a highlighter or something like that.

Overall, I am very happy with my order, even though I also ordered a lipstick that never arrived. But at one pound, not a great loss. The winners are definitely the eye shadow palettes and I`m thinking of getting yet another one. The blusher and bronzer were not a WOW, but maybe that`s because of the colours.

Have you tried anything from this brand? What do you recommend?
