This Is Hardcore is the sixth album by English band Pulp, first released in March 1998. It came three years after their breakthrough album, Different Class, and was eagerly anticipated. In 2013, NME ranked it at number 166 in its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. As with the band's previous album, Different Class, it reached No. 1 in the UK Albums Chart, and was well received critically, earning Pulp a third successive nomination for the 1998 Mercury Prize.

Blacklisted is an American hardcore punk band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They have toured North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. The album's sound is said to be a mix of Blacklisted's style on the experimental album No One Deserves To Be Here More Than Me with the style on the hardcore album Heavier Than Heaven, Lonelier Than Go. .The Beat Goes On (Deathwish, 2005). Heavier Than Heaven, Lonelier Than God (Deathwish, 2008). No One Deserves To Be Here More Than Me (Deathwish, 2009). When People Grow, People Go (Deathwish, 2015).
The album is tighter and more impactful than their debut, packing crunching hardcore, flashes of metal and off-kilter drumming around van der Velde’s impassioned bark. Some metalcore purists say that Reach Beyond The Sun is a better album, but we dare you to come out of your mother’s basement and say that. IV: Constitution Of Treason is a benchmark release and here’s why; when God Forbid released this record in 2005, it was considered something of a apex of the metalcore genre. The New Jersey sextet’s fourth release is a concept album about a crumbling society who rebuilds itself, only to collapse again, told over 10 flawless tracks.
