While generally underground darlings in most parts of the world, these guys are the best thing since sliced bread in Australia, recently landing on the cover of Australian Rolling Stone. Their contributions to the A-Side of this record have distinctly different tones with one common thread: the Early 1990s.

While Spraynard subsists on a steady diet of chill pills - we make cool sneaky records with cool sneaky friends. Check out this thing Pat & Pat worked on with our buddy Ezra Cohen from Notches! dumpty. First Six Songs, by Dumpty. September 6, 2018 ·. Help out our buddy Sadie!

Violent Soho is the second official studio album of Violent Soho, released on 9 March 2010 on the Ecstatic Peace label. The album contains much of the material off of their first album, We Don't Belong Here, though it has been re-recorded with changes made to some of the songs. Although the album is not technically their first record, it is commonly referred to as their "debut album". All music composed by Violent Soho (Luke Boerdam, James Tidswell, Luke Henery and Michael Richards, except where noted).

Redirected from Waco (album)). Violent Soho are an Australian alternative rock band that was formed in 2004 in the Brisbane suburb of Mansfield, Queensland. The band consists of Luke Boerdam (vocals, guitar), James Tidswell (guitar), Luke Henery (bass) and Michael Richards (drums). Their sound has been compared to that of 1980s and 1990s alternative rock bands such as the Pixies, Mudhoney and Nirvana.

Brisbane, Australia's Violent Soho revive the fuzzed-out rock of the early '90s, borrowing Weezer's crunchy guitars and Nirvana's distortion-coated hooks. Featuring Luke Boerdam and James Tidswell, bassist Luke Henery, and drummer Michael Richards, the band formed in 2004, when the foursome were going to school together. In 2013, Violent Soho recorded their third album, Hungry Ghost, which found them moving on from their grunge influences; the album was released in September 2013, and in support, the group did plenty of touring and joined the lineup of Australia's traveling music festival Big Day Out. The album received a belated release in the United States in the fall of 2014. The following year, Violent Soho teamed up with Spraynard for a split single, and released the single "Viceroy" in early 2016 as a teaser for their fourth full-length, Waco, which was released later that year.
