Tone Float, which was originally never released as a Kraftwerk album, was released as an Organisation album, on RCA in the UK only, and the original LP is super-rare, and probably the rarest of anything Kraftwerk-related. It's only these unofficial reissues that the Kraftwerk name was slapped on, because it would draw more attention for the Kraftwerk collector who has to have everything from them and related.

Kraftwerk organisation" is the pre-Kraftwerk and they released this unique album in 1969, just before Kraftwerk's birth. Tone Float is the debut album of Organisation, a pioneering Kraut band around Florian Schneider and Ralf Hutter who would continue as Kraftwerk after this sole Organisation release. The album doesn't betray any of their future electronic music but is a pure experimental Kraut album with massive amounts of percussion, psych organs, flutes and violin.

Tone Float is an LP by the German band Organisation. Organisation was a pre-Kraftwerk band, having only produced and released one album, Tone Float. After the release, members of the group went on to form Kraftwerk. Side one. Side two. 3 Personnel.

This album has an average beat per minute of 106 BPM (slowest/fastest tempos: 64/140 BPM). Tracklist Tone Float.

Overview (current section). The album has not been officially reissued on compact disc. The album sold few copies on its UK-only release in August 1970, and is remembered because two of the band members, Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider-Esleben, later went on to form the group Kraftwerk. It was produced by Konrad "Conny" Plank. The studio was in the middle of an oil refinery.
