About Season of Da Siccness. Written in a time of self-isolation and violent gang wars raging outside of his home. Conflicts that took countless of his friends and famliy member’s lives, Brotha Lynch Hung turned to the mic with his frustrations. The album features lyrics filled with dark street violence and goes as far as cannibalism. Brotha Lynch Hung cites his love of horror movies as the reason for such lyrics. Season of da Siccness made him the leading pioneer of the horror-core rap style. A style that influenced artists such as Tech N9ne, Eminem, and Hopsin. Best Songs: Locc 2 da Brain.

Brotha Lynch Hung's 1st full length album is a California Classic, he produced, mixed, and mastered this entire album by himself, and also has the best verses! This album isn't for the weak either, his lyrics depict gore and murder, and every track has a memorable beat and hook. This is A must have classic, for all underground, hardcore & gangsta rap fans! 5/5. Reply Notify me 1 Helpful. Yes the lyrics are sick and would make Cannibal Corpse turn pale but the album is sick too: perfect, a work of art.

Notes

Released with a white stickered barcode, mostly covering over the yellow barcode that is originally printed on the actual artwork. Both the stickered barcode, as well as the original yellow barcode that it covers over, contain the exact same numbering.

On the rear artwork for this version, the letter "U" in the word "Unauthorized" (located below the barcode), appears directly below the last zero of the yellow printed barcode, (the rest of which is covered by the stickered barcode).

There is another variation of this Prioirity Records distributed version in the database, which is very similar to this one, except that it does not have a sticker covering the barcode, and the letter "U" in the word "Unauthorized" (located below the barcode), is offset to the right slightly from where the last zero in the barcode is printed. Instead, the full stop after the word "Reserved." is what appears directly below the last zero. There is a unique difference between the two printings, in that the offset of the bottom line of text below the barcodes is different.

Recorded at: Enharmonic, Sacramento, CA

Moogura
Great album! Every song is grimy and filled with hardcore killer rap. He raps about ripgut cannibalism on the album. This was best album from the 90's.
