Paul appears to support this in his Letter to the Romans 15:20 when he remarks: "Thus I aspire to proclaim the Gospel not where Christ has already been named, so that I do not build on another man's foundation. However, Paul ultimately ended up in Rome in chains and proclaimed the Gospel for two years (Acts 28:30). A Letter of the Apostles concluded (Acts 15:29): " If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. 1 Paul, an apostle not sent from men nor through the agency of man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead, 2 and all the brethren who are with me, To the churches of Galatia: 3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5 to whom be the glory forevermore.
Paul declares that God’s righteousness has always been manifest in his dealings with men. Though the Apostle notes with pride the unique religious heritage of the Jewish people (the Covenant, the Law, the patriarchs, and Christ himself), he declares that righteousness no longer comes through observance of the Mosaic Law, not even for Jews, because God now manifests his righteousness through Christ, whose righteousness is the source of righteousness for all mankind.

The Pauline epistles, also called Epistles of Paul or Letters of Paul, are the thirteen books of the New Testament, composed of letters which are largely attributed to Paul the Apostle, although authorship of some is in dispute. Among these letters are some of the earliest extant Christian documents. They provide an insight into the beliefs and controversies of early Christianity. As part of the canon of the New Testament, they are foundational texts for both Christian theology and ethics.
The conversion of St. Paul produced a man filled with a great zeal for Jesus Christ and a great drive to evangelize through preaching and writing. Although the authorship of the Letter to the Hebrews is under debate, traditionally it has been ascribed to St. Paul and so I include it here. The Letter to the Hebrews deals with the notion of priestly sacrifice and is excellent reading for anybody interested in the Jewish roots of the Catholic priesthood and provides excellent material on how a priest is very different than a Church paid social worker. But aside from this, the letter also highlights a key theme of St. Paul that is central to this verse, namely that need to hold fast to the faith.
