These Foolish Things is the debut solo studio album by Bryan Ferry, who at the time was still Roxy Music's lead vocalist. The album was released in October 1973 on Island Records in the UK, and Atlantic Records in the United States. It was a commercial and critical success, peaking at number 5 on the albums chart in the United Kingdom. The album is considered to be a departure from Roxy Music's sound, because it consists entirely of cover versions, mainly of standard songs.

Pennies from Heaven" is a 1936 American popular song with music by Arthur Johnston and lyrics by Johnny Burke. It was introduced by Bing Crosby with Georgie Stoll and his Orchestra in the 1936 film of the same name.

Lyrics to 'Pennies From Heaven' by Teddy Edwards & Houston Person. Teddy Edwards Quartet - Going Home. Top Songs By Teddy Edwards. every time it rains, it's gonna rain pennies from heaven Don't you know every cloud contains lots of pennies from heaven You'll find your fortune's fallin', baby, all over the town Be sure, be sure that your umbrella is upside down Trade them for a package of sunshine and flowers If you want the things you love, you've. got to have showers So, when you hear it thunder, don't run under a tree There'll be pennies from heaven for you and me.
