The Bluegrass Sessions is the sixty-first studio album by American country music singer and songwriter Merle Haggard. This album was released on October 2, 2007 on the McCoury Music and Hag Records. The bulk of the album was cut live in the studio in one day, with very little overdubbing. Guests include Alison Krauss, Marty Stuart and dobro virtuso Rob Ickes. It was produced by Ronnie Reno, former rhythm guitarist of The Strangers. All songs written by Merle Haggard except where noted.

ROY INTERNATIONAL ENTERPRISES added 16 new photos to the album: Turkish Model - in Kathmandu, Nepal. These are coming soon in our store.

If Merle Haggard didn't come up with a masterpiece for his 30th album, you could argue he didn't have to - he made consistently stronger albums than most of his contemporaries in country music, and he was still doing that 30 LPs and nine years into his recording career, and that in itself is a pretty impressive accomplishment. Merle Haggard, Roy Nichols.

According to our records, Merle Roy Robertson is possibly single. Merle Roy Robertson was previously married to Linda Darnell (1957 - 1963). Relationship Statistics.

As you listen to this song take notice the slight popping noise as the needle is lowered onto the record. It hits a piece of dust (shame on me) or doesn't hit the groove exactly right. Proof by that slight pop that many of us still do play vinyl records and albums. This album was recorded on March 14, 1970 at Philadelphia's Civic Center Hall where Haggard drew a capacity crowd. This is a fun vinyl record and shows Merle's talent with his impersonations of Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Hank Snow and Buck Owens.
