Greatest Hits 2 is a compilation album of most of the Oak Ridge Boys' hits from 1980 to 1984. The album, their eleventh, was released on July 7, 1984. Unlike the first Greatest Hits album, released in 1980, this album had two new songs, "Make My Life with You" and "Everyday", replacing "Bobbie Sue" and "So Fine", both of which were 1982 hits, from the album Bobbie Sue. "Elvira" (Dallas Frazier) (3:46) From the album Fancy Free.

I am a huge Oak Ridge Boys fan from way back. Having owned either the LP or cassette of nearly every album they made I was so happy to have their Greatest Hits Vol. 2 CD (I have 1 & 3 too). So good to hear the songs again and have them crystal clear. This CD can be bought for such bargain prices and the songs will bring you back to simpler times.

Theirs is one of the most distinctive and recognizable sounds in the music industry. The four-part harmonies and upbeat songs of The Oak Ridge Boys have spawned dozens of country hits and a pop smash, earned them Grammy, Dove, CMA and ACM awards and garnered a host of other industry and fan accolades. Every time they step before an audience, the Oaks bring 15 years of hits and 50 years of tradition to bear on a stage show widely acknowledged as among the most exciting anywhere.

Greatest Hits is the fifth country album by The Oak Ridge Boys, released in 1980. It compiled most of their hits from their first four albums (1977 to 1980). You're the One" (Bob Morrison) (3:01) from the album Y'all Come Back Saloon. I'll Be True to You" (Alan Rhody) (3:42) From the album Y'all Come Back Saloon. Trying to Love Two Women" (Sonny Throckmorton) (2:32) from the album Together. Cryin' Again" (Rafe VanHoy, Don Cook) (2:41) from the album Room Service.

Greatest Hits, Vol. 3 is a decent overview of the Oak Ridge Boys' country crossover material recorded for MCA in the '80s. The majority of songs include on vocals the late Steve Sanders, who took over when William Lee Golden was dismissed from the band in 1987. Among these Top Ten hits include "Gonna Take a Lot of River," "It Takes a Little Rain (To Make Love Grow)," and "Bobbie Su. Track Listing.
