The Lost Boys is a 1987 American horror comedy film directed by Joel Schumacher, starring Corey Haim, Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Corey Feldman, Dianne Wiest, Edward Herrmann, Alex Winter, Jamison Newlander, and Barnard Hughes. The film is about two brothers who move to California to a fictional beach town called "Santa Carla", and end up fighting a gang of young vampires

Father, father, where are you going. O do not walk so fast. Speak father, speak to your little boy. Or else I shall be lost, The night was dark no father was there. The child was wet with dew. The mire was deep, & the child did weep.

Two brothers move to a picturesque California coastal town and soon begin to realise that the local renegade band of bikers are more dead than alive. Financial troubles force recently divorced mother Lucy Emerson and her two teenage sons Michael and Sam to move from Phoenix to settle down with her father in Santa Carla, an offbeat coastal town in California plagued with gang activity, unexplained disappearances and just happens to be the murder.

Cover photograph by Caroline Mackintosh. Pressed on Black & White Split colour vinyl and housed in a printed inner sleeve.

Maybe I had bad luck, but the vinyl has a lot - I mean: really a lot - of surface noise, clicks and pops, especially the white vinyl part. And you can tell just by listening the moment the needle goes over to the other color. Seems to be a pressing issue. That‘s annoying because a) the music seems to be well produced and recorded and b) this lovely music is calm most of the time. In the end: this record is unplayable for me.
