Catasto Elettrico releases first appeared on the web via the Elastic Rock blog site in 2007. The Catasto blog says: The group never recorded a true record, except for the self-produced vinyl Modern Jazz Sessions - which is about as close to any factual info we get on them. It also lists the members as: Francesco Groggia - bass, Renato Trevisani - drums, Alessandro Groggia - keyboards, devices. It is said that "Trio" was old recordings. However, no dates or other info is given on any of their releases.

Catasto Elettrico is a trio (keyboards, bass, drums) whose music is based upon the idea (utopia) of total improvisation in the telepathic Miles Davis way and moves forward through different influences: from Terry Riley's minimalism to Tangerine Dream's and Weather Report (and all in between). All Catasto Elettrico albums were recorded during single sessions, totally improvised. Tutti gli album del Catasto sono presi da registrazioni di singole session, totalmente improvvisate. No favourite quotes to show.

They also have one release featuring the most original album title ever seen around: 'Set The Controls For The Heart of The Sun' As Played By Vanilla Fudge Imitating Iron Butterfly When Fudge Were Forced To Open For Butterfly At The Fillmore West After In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida Went Top Ten'.

Micro-Phonies is the sixth full-length studio album by British electronic band Cabaret Voltaire. Released in November 1984, the album was the group's most mainstream hit to date, with the singles "Sensoria" and "James Brown" gaining popularity, especially the former, due to the music video finding MTV airplay. The album sees Cabaret Voltaire continuing to change, pursuing the more synthpop-oriented direction they had started shifting towards on The Crackdown.
