Frank Zappa & The Mothers 5 July 1970 Venue - Tyrone Guthrie Theater, Minneapolis, MN. Published worldwide by Zappa Family Trust dba Munchkin Music. Road Tapes, Venue 3 ‎(2xCD, Album). Vaulternative Records, Vaulternative Records.

Road Tapes - Venue is a music live recording by FRANK ZAPPA (essive Rock) released in 2016 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. Only for completionists (23%). This does create some weakness in the sound, and when the album switches into true stereo, the change is drastic, but also a great relief. Aside from that major sound issue extending through the first few tracks, the rest of the sound is fair.

Road Tapes, Venue is a posthumous album of Frank Zappa, released in October 2013, consisting of songs from three concerts held in August 1973 at the Finlandia Hall, Helsinki, Finland: the August 23 early & late shows and the August 24 show. With a duration of more than two hours, this collection gives the experience of a full concert

FRANK ZAPPA & The Mothers – 5 July 1970. The master tapes are in excellent shape and were recorded live to stereo 2-track Reel-to Reel. One unfortunate problem, outside of some occasional azimuth adjustments, was dealing with reel one. The master tape was re-used and material was recorded over with the live performance. To basically quote FZ in the liner notes to You Can’t Do That On Stage Anymore, we hope you enjoy Road Tapes, Venue 3 and will find time to hear the entire series. Joe Travers, Vaultmeister. 2-Track Stereo 7-inch Reel-to-Reel Analog Tape (Scotch 203 @ 7 1/2 ips).

Road Tapes, Venue features two complete shows from Tyrone Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, MN. The July '70 Mothers line-up featured Flo & Eddie, George Duke, Ian Underwood, Aynsley Dunbar & Jeff Simmons. FZ's vast Vault does not contain many full shows from this time period, so that alone makes this release a special one. The tapes were recorded to stereo reel-to-reel, but not without problems. Due to their historical relevance, we felt it was worth it, warts 'n all! Venue does not disappoint.

Songs from Road Tapes, Venue by Frank Zappa, Игорь Фёдорович Стравинский. Road Tapes, Venue Frank Zappa, Игорь Фёдорович Стравинский. Tracks count: 28. Views: 17. Frank Zappa - Tyrone Start The Tap. 1:59. Frank Zappa - King Kong 03:27.

Road Tapes Venue is two gigs, warts and all. There are some warts; this band could be a bit thin when re-interpreting the old material, and it's a very early gig in their life - months before 200 Motels and over a year before the notorious Live At Fillmore East and Just Another Band From LA albums - so there are moments when they don't quite lock, and feel a little. But the virtues are that this band could really cook when it wanted to, and Frank (and everyone else) sound like they're having a wonderful time
