Man in Black is the 38th overall album by country singer Johnny Cash, released on Columbia Records in 1971. Many of the songs on the album contain political references, either broad or specific, while the title song refers both to Cash's tendency to wear black at live shows and to the tumultuous times in which the song was created, implying the Vietnam War. The album's name also eventually became Cash's informal nickname, given to him by the public.

The fact that one of its songs is called "Hit or Miss" is quite appropriate for the double-vinyl Black Album; while not perfect, it's definitely got some high points on it. Given the intentionally parodic reference to the Beatles' own two-disc sprawler, perhaps the semi-schizophrenia is perfectly intentional. Some of the numbers show the band following their original punk vein, but by this point the four (joined here by a new bassist, Paul Gray) were leaving straight, three-chord thrash to the cul-de-sac revivalists
No band exemplifies what heavy metal is all about better than Black Sabbath. Look no further than the list of Black Sabbath Albums Ranked Worst to Best found below. Their sound defines the style, but so do the extreme highs and lows experienced by the group through periods of stability and utter chaos, out of which albums of both fantastic and dubious quality have emerged, often when least expected. No wonder Black Sabbath have built such a loyal fan base over the years. We explore the group's metallic creations, occasional experiments, comebacks and collapses (and comebacks once again),.

It makes scrums safer. Scrums used to collapse. We were also spending too much time on them. They were being repacked and re-fed because there was a mass of legs across the tunnel. To make the game faster, the ball has to go in and out. But scrums still serve a purpose. It makes backlines seven on seven. And it’s a traditional part of the game. But some of the best things about sport are random, messy, unscripted. And because players may cheat is surely not a reason not to police it.
