Born in the year 1987, Distance In² started playing with samples as early as 1997. Starting with classic techno and eventually working with Trance, my bread and butter. Everyday, the style evolves and becomes something greater but not too crazy. A pounding pair of tracks from Gimbrère, heavy on bass and lit up by euphoric gospel-style vocals. Album Name Antithesis. Released date 01 April 2008. Labels Relapse Records. Recorded at Chapman Recording. Music StyleTechnical Death. Members owning this album275. I listened to Echoes of Decimation and thought there was a lot of good, in fact much more good than bad, but it was a tough pill to swallow at times. My bone with them was A) too many vocals, B) "tech demo" like sweep patterns that could get a bit tiring. Well Origin seem to have upped their craft and Antithesis is a quite enjoyable listen. While the band remains unequivocally technical, it's nice to see some occasional subdued playing from Ryan and Turner.
