The Chemical Wedding is the fifth solo album by English heavy metal singer Bruce Dickinson, released on 15th September 1998 through Sanctuary Records

BRAIN/SHAKE (tribute ac/dc), Firenze (Florence, Italy). AC/DC tribute from florence tuscany italy europe since 2008.

The Chemical Wedding ‎(Cass, Album). CMC International Records. All Air Raid Records releases starting with Chemical Wedding were pressed by a factory with IFPI SID code number "8Y". I've failed to find what stands behind 8Y, the only info is that it was a UK facility, except this no name, no situation, nothing at all. Maybe someone can help me? Reply Notify me Helpful. Needs a vinyl release awfully bad!

About The Chemical Wedding. Bruce Dickinson’s fifth solo album was inspired by the works of the English poet/painter William Blake. The album cover art was taken from his painting The Ghost of a Flea and the album constantly references his poems. The album is unrepentantly, totally heavy. From start to finish. This one’s totally about alchemy. This one is about alchemy and specifically the poetry of William Blake which is very much based on the philosophy of alchemy.

How happy is the human soul Not enslaved by dull control Left to dream and roam and play Shed the guilt of former days. Walking on the foggy shore Watch the waves come rolling home Through the veil of pale moonlight My shadow stretches out its hand. And so we lay, we lay in the same grave. Our chemical wedding day. Our chemical wedding day Floating in the endless blue My seed of doubt I leave to you Let it wither on the ground Treat it like a plague you found. All my dreams that were outside In living colour, now alive And.

The Chemical Wedding" also keeps the songs at manageable lengths; this being in stark contrast to some of the complete rubbish Maiden released as they temporarily lost their way in the latter part of the 90s. Overall, pure joy to listen to and the proper kick in the arse Dickinson managed to find before heading back to re-front one the greatest metal bands of all time.
