Klute returns with his 7th artist LP called The Draft. We kick things off here with this 3 track taster featuring 3 different styles of Tom Withers: Turnaround is D&B like only Klute can do, Birdland is swirling atmospheres set to a laid back beat and Give It All is darkly sublime with twinges of 4AD and an immense vocal from new talent Naomi Pryor. The perfect sampler for the full length album, due to hit stores on 14th October.

His seventh studio album totally reflects this eccentric ethos too, with the big man snatching influences and inspiration from a lifetime of musical experimentation. Switching from darkly and brilliantly beautiful to tribal rhythms, ambient instrumental passages and recklessly heavy basslines, it's an album to take in as a whole. As Klute says himself, it's "A world of possibilities set within the structure of a musical discipline.

On October 14, Klute caps off his 15th year in the drum & bass game with his seventh studio album, The Draft.

In stock now for same day shipping. The Draft Album Sampler. And it's been well worth the wait. As proved by this gorgeous three-track sampler. Turnaround" is an emotional, cinematic roller; coated in an inspiring sense of star-gazing hope, it sits somewhere between Bungle and the Chemical Brothers. Birdland" showcase's Klute's more ambient, techno-influenced methods with its jazzed out hi-hat splashes and oceanic synth washes. Give It All" finalises the short narrative with vocal luxury and cosmic instrumentality. What do you think of this.
