Until We Have Faces is the third studio album from Nashville-based Christian rock band Red. This was the first album the band released with 4 members, due to the departure of guitarist Jasen Rauch, although Rauch still contributed songwriting. It was released on Feb. 01, 2011 through Sony Records.
Until We Have Faces is largely a straight forward rock album that has hard rock tendencies. With the exception of the opening track, "Feed The Machine," those looking for a daring or diverse rock release won't be entirely satisfied here. The first song is unique because the growling, screaming vocals are almost solely contained on "Feed The Machine," and the cinematic atmosphere in which the song ends is artistic and unexpectedly satisfying. However, Until We Have Faces doesn't go too many places that Innocence & Instinct didn't. With that said, sound lyrics and great music have made RED's third project good, if not even great. JFH Staff's Second Opinion. Red enters 2011 as one of the hottest names in Christian rock with one of the most anticipated albums of the year, Until We Have Faces.

Until We Have Faces is Red’s most mature album to date. Until We Have Faces is that album they, . the industry, wanted Red to make, but we didn’t – more or less safe and marketable, lacking the ‘innocence’, the ‘instinct’, those qualities that made Red an interesting time-tested alternate hard rock band to begin with, being grouped with Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace, yet not being of them and their
