PRO MUSICA is a Heavy Prog, Progressive Rock artist from Romania. Some of the material would again be recycled in 1988 for the "Rockul Baroc" album, but with some new members and less inspiration. After leaving their mark on the 80s scene, PRO MUSICA has one last period of glory in the early 90s. The anticommunist Revolution starts in Timişoara and the band provides the anthem for the new political and civil movement.

Most of their music is secular - from about 1450-1650. A substantial portion is purely instrumental, and works are generally chosen that are suitable for several types of Renaissance instruments.
