Peter Henry Fonda (born February 23, 1940) is an American actor. He is the son of Henry Fonda, younger brother of Jane Fonda, and father of Bridget and Justin Fonda (by first wife, Susan Brewer, stepdaughter of Noah Dietrich). Fonda was a part of the counterculture of the 1960s. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Easy Rider (1969), and the Academy Award for Best Actor for Ulee's Gold (1997).
Outlaw Blues is a 1977 American drama film directed by Richard T. Heffron and starring Peter Fonda and Susan Saint James. Written by Bill L. Norton, the film is about an ex-convict and songwriter trying to break into the music business in Austin, Texas. When a famous country singer steals one of his songs and turns it into a hit, the songwriter confronts him, and in a struggle the country singer accidentally shoots himself.

He followed this success with ‘The Victors,’ an American war film where he was seen playing the supporting role, and won a ‘Golden Globe Award’ for the same. He received two ‘Academy Award’ nominations - one for his performance in ‘Easy Rider,’ an independent road drama film where he starred as Wyatt, and the other for his role in ‘Ulee’s Gold,’ the drama film where he portrayed Ulee Jackson. Peter Fonda was raised with his older sister, actress Jane Fonda, by Hollywood actor Henry Fonda – his mother Frances Ford Seymour. committed suicide when he was 10 years old. Peter moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where he studied acting at the University of Nebraska, and there he became a member of the Omaha Community Playhouse. He also ends up in a breakneck, breakaway romance with Tina (Susan Saint James), a sassy backup singer whose promotional efforts propel Bobby's own record of the song to the top of the charts. Easy Rider Fonda gets high marks performing songs by country legends Hoyt Axton, Harlan Sanders and John Oates. Buckle up for a fast-lane, good ol' time. Bobby Ogden (Peter Fonda) is a wanted man.
