Red Album is the debut studio album released by the progressive metal band Baroness. Red Album was named Album of the Year by heavy metal magazine Revolver. The music video for "Wanderlust" debuted on December 8, 2007 on Headbangers Ball. In 2017, Rolling Stone ranked Red Album as 83th on their list of 'The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time. It is their only album to feature Brian Blickle on guitar. All lyrics written by John Baizley; all music composed by Baroness.

The Second EP saw Baroness return to the studio with producer Cope to record their sophomore EP. Second shows another side of Baroness with less straightforward Rock and more tech-heavy instrumentals, tempo changes and Psychedelic interludes while at the same time capturing the energy and intensity of their live show.

It reached No. 11 in the UK Charts on 9 October 1971, and "Back Street Luv" became a UK No. 4 chart hit on 7 August 1971. and I respect each others' work, but we don't really see eye-to-eye on most things. And we never really got the co-writing thing together. I wanted to get my first 'epic' together, so it looks like a split forming (at the time of the "Second Album").
