25 Reasons to buy the M&S beauty advent calendar

Long are the days when chocolate advent calendars where the only acceptable way to start counting the days until Christmas. Now every beauty brand, drugstore or high-end, is releasing a calendar and the competition is fiercer than ever. You have your premium ones, like Charlotte Tilbury or Liberty, which go over the 100£ mark. On the other end, you have cheap alternatives from Essence, Tanya Burr or W7. For me, however, the one that stood out the most, was the M&S beauty advent calendar.

This little guy costs 35£, but it does come with a catch. Simply put, you can get in for 35£ if you spend 35£ in store. I know some people had a problem with this, but considering the products inside are worth over 250£, it`s definitely a good bargain. Also, how hard can it be to spend that amount in store? I took advantage of their 3 for 2 offer on Christmas gifts and ended up with a fantastic deal.

One look at the calendar and it`s clear to see that they put a lot of effort into packaging. Not only is it pretty to look at, but it`s also reusable. I am planning on using the little boxes for the Secret Santa at work, they are beyond cute and festive. I`ll also keep the card box and store something inside, like my fairy lights or some candles. Moving on to the content, you`re in for a treat. If the price and the design did not convince you to buy, then the products inside will. The samples are more than generous and come from M&S best selling brands.

Let me know in the comments if you`re buying any beauty advent calendars this year. Also, do you like to open the boxes daily throughout December? Or are you more like me and ravish everything in one day?

  1. I got it too and I am so happy that I decided to get it. There are so many great products in it and £35 is a big bargain for it! I've wanted to try liquid gold for so long, at least now I'd test it to see whether I like it or not!
