February Empties

Posts about products that I used are sometimes my worst enemy! Don`t get me wrong, I use tons of stuff, then I buy more and finish even more, but I always forget to keep the containers. This month however as soon as I finished something, I put it in a basket and actually have some content for this post. Because what can be more entertaining than going through some of my rubbish?

I try to use a facial scrub twice a week and this Yves Rocher Apricot Fruity Scrub was pretty good. It can be a bit harsh if you rub it really hard, but I used gentle motions and it worked out perfectly for me. What I really liked about it, besides the gorgeous fruity scent, is that it`s paraben free and has lots of botanical-based ingredients, like organic chamomile water or orange essential oil.

I also finished this Shea Butter Shower Gel I got in a gift set from my mom. I don`t know any words in German, so I can`t tell you more about it, but it smelled really nice and left my skin soft.

The last products I want to talk about are hair related. First we have the Pantene Pro-V Clarifying Shampoo, which I absolutely adore! If you have oily hair, this will instantly become your best friend. I used to wash my hair every other day, but because this is a deep cleansing shampoo, now I do it every 3-4 days. Not only is my hair less oily, but the formula is very lightweight, so I also get lots of volume when I use this. Aaaaand it smells like melons, how cool is that?

And the last product is this TRESemme Keratin Smooth Conditioner. I wasn`t a fan of this because I did not see any results. My straight hair did not last longer because of this, it did not make by hair softer or smoother. Basically, I could have skipped applying conditioner because it did nothing for me. Maybe you are supposed to use the whole range for results, I don`t know, but I`m not willing to give this another chance.

There were 2 lipsticks that I finished, but I`m saving those for an empties post on makeup, which will feature products that I love and repurchase all the time. Let me know if you tried any of these, I`m curious to see what are your opinions about them.

  2. I've been hoping to see a review on that shampoo so this is perfect! Some clarifying shampoos dry my hair out way too much but this sounds much better :)
