Lush Cosmetic Warrior - First Impressions

I know, I know, another Lush product. I just can`t help myself, their products are so good! I also try to use more organic products and avoid those filled with parabens, because what you put on your skin is just as important as what goes inside. If I want to commit to a healthy lifestyle, I should do that in every aspect of my life. That`s not to say I'll ditch everything else, but you`ll definitely see more natural products/brands featured in here.

Anyway, the other day I went to the Lush store in Romford. While I work in Stratford, I find that one too busy, so I much prefer the Romford one. There are fewer products I think, but you can have longer chats with the staff. I told them that my skin is acting out (effing cold) and they suggested I try one of their fresh face masks, Cosmetic Warrior.
Lush Cosmetic Warrior Face Mask

I read lots of good reviews about it, saw it featured on many Youtube channels, so I had high hopes. What really draw me in though was the part when they told me it has garlic. I love garlic, I really do! I always put it in every sauce and sometimes I just eat it raw. Yes, I like it that much and I constantly need to ran to wash my teeth, but I can`t help myself. The scent is not overwhelming, so it`s OK if you are not a fan of garlic.Though, how can you not be? Another main ingredient is tea tree oil, which has antiseptic properties.

,, A gentle and balancing fresh face mask with antibacterial tea tree and fresh garlic working together to cleanse. Fresh green grapes clean and cool the skin, whilst free range eggs tighten its texture and antimicrobial honey leaves it soft and moisturised. Smooth a generous layer of this mask onto your face and leave for 10 to 15 minutes.``

The consistency of the cream is quite thick, but spreads nicely, so you don`t need that much. At the moment I have 6 spots and one, the one on my chin, is itchy as hell. As soon as I applied this, it soothed my skin and having it on felt really refreshing. After I took it off, my skin was less red and irritated. It felt really soft and had a nice glow, or maybe I just saw that because it was free of dirt. I`ll keep using it and let you know the results. Everyone says they really saw a big difference after 2 weeks, so I`m really excited. I loved the first time I used it and was pleasantly surprised with the results, I hope it gets better.

Now, last but not least, the price. It`s 6.50£ for a small pot, which has to be kept in the fridge because it`s fresh. I find the price really good, to be honest, because you buy face masks full of chemicals at around the same price while this one is with natural ingredients. Also, Lush has a recycling programme where you can take back 5 empty pots and you`ll get a full-sized fresh mask free. You do something good and you also get rewarded.

Have you tried this mask before? Did you like it? What other ones should I get next?
