July Beauty Favourites

Hello, everyone!By the time you read this I am on a short city break to Glasgow, woooooooooho! This month I pretty much used the same products, so there weren`t any new discoveries. Most of the days I did not wear makeup at all, so I`m afraid today`s list will be a bit short. However, in 3 weeks I`m off to Paris and a trip to Sephora is in order, so I think next month will be a lot more exciting.

In the rare days when I wore makeup, I used my favourite summer foundation, Rimmel Match Perfection. This is a light to medium foundation, feels really lightweight on the skin and adds a natural glow. It looks very natural and I can use it even when it`s extremely hot outside. If you want to find out more, this is  my review.

Like I said, I wore a minimum amount of makeup, but I did focus more on my skin. I had a bad breakout at the beginning of the month, so my main concern was getting rid of it. For that I used various products, but nothing as effective as these two Lush face masks. In the first days, when it looked the worst, I applied almost daily Cosmetic Warrior. This fresh garlic face masks helped reduce the inflammation and the spots, leaving my skin a lot clearer. You can read a review here, where I also confess my deep love for garlic. Vampires say whaaaaaaaaaaaaat! Anyway, after my skin started to look better, I used the Brazened Honey face masks. This has a more gritty texture, I used it to exfoliate my skin and get rid of any dirt or excess oil. If you buy only one Lush fresh mask, then it should be this one as it is simply amazing. You can find my review here.

July will be marked on my calendar as the day I started using fake tanners. Now, I`m not going all orange or TOWIE style, but a little colour and glow never hurt anybody. I loved using the ST Tropez products for an instant result, but the one I used most was from Dove, their Summer Glow Nourishing Lotion. This is a gradual tanner and the result are very subtle, so nobody can tell that it`s not your skin colour. It doesn`t feel sticky and it also doesn`t leave any streaks. Winner!

So these are July`s beauty winners. What products stole your heart this month? Let me know in the comments below.
