My evening skincare routine

Hello, everyone! Today I want to share with you my evening skincare routine, recommend you some tips and products that will help you achieve a better-looking skin. I`m by no means an expert, there are so many more people that know more about me about skincare, but the morning and evening routines are my favourites, so I decided to give this a go. I decided to include my most used products at the moment and even though I sometimes mix it up a little, these are my main 5. In the winter, I tend to use more products, like serums and treatments, but in the summer I like to stay with the basics.

Since my breakout a couple of days ago, I make sure I thoroughly cleanse. Doing a proper cleansing is essential for a happy skin and even though there are days when I don`t wear makeup or I have a light one, there`s still dirt and bacteria from the environment. The first step I do is remove my makeup, using micellar water. I am a big fan of Garnier and they recently released a micellar water designed for people with combination skin. Basically, it does the same thing as the previous one, the only difference being that it takes away some of the shine and greasiness. An amazing product, very similar to the cult one from Bioderma, but at the fraction of that price,

For my second cleanse I use the Liz Earle Cleanse&Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. This is perfect for those days when you wear a lot of makeup and you want to be sure you get rid of all of it. Besides that, it also leaves your skin feeling smooth and hydrated. The only thing I`m not too keen about it`s the scent, I think a fragrance free formula would have been better. I wanted to get my hands on the limited edition one that smelled like oranges, but it was sold out. Oh well, better luck next time!

A double cleanse can sometimes be harsh for your skin, so you need to give it a boost. Lately, my skin is really dry, so I use more moisturising products. For the past 2 weeks, I`ve been using the Quick Fix Mega Moisture Gel Mask and so far I love it. Every other day after my cleanse, I apply a small amount on my skin, leave it for 10 minutes and remove it with a flannel. My skin feels a lot softer and feels less tight. It contains Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and Collagen, all of which help maintain the skin`s elasticity and hydration. It has a lovely sweet scent and just sink into your skin.

Now all that`s left is apply some face cream. My favourite is from Vichy, their Night Detox cream. Seriously, I have no words to describe this, it`s simply the best. Not only does it leave my skin softer, but it also removes excess sebum, tightens the pores and reduces redness. You can read my review here. And last but not least, is a recent discovery from Una Brennan. Their Illuminating Eye Cream has been my saviour these weeks, exhausted by moving and endless Netflix marathons. The under-eye area feels a lot drier these days and it also reduced the puffiness. For more details, read my review here.

And this is my evening skincare routine, I really hope you enjoyed it because I had a lot of fun writing it. Have you tried any of these products before? What other do you recommend?
