A little haulin` never hurt nobody

In more than 6 months of blogging, this is the second HAUL post I write. I don`t know why, but for me, these kind of posts seem a bit weird...Why would people be interested in what I buy? Are they an insight into my private life?Yup, these are just a few questions that stand in my way. And although I like reading them (written by other people ofc), I don`t like doing them. However, it was a good trip and an interesting idea popped into my head! I won`t document every shopping spree(let's be honest, they`re so many), but I will write an occasional haul post when I find  good bargains, so you can take advantage of them as well. Without further introductions, let's see the savings I did today. (you know what I mean)

FROM SUPERDRUG:

  • MUA Conceal& Brighten Kit in Beige
What they say: ,, Perfectly blendable camouflage for almost any skin imperfection including blemishes, scars, birthmarks and under eye circles. Also contains highlighting cream to transform your complexion with luminescent shimmer``
This kit looks very similar to the one I got in my ,, Benefit How to Look The Best At Everything Kit.``First difference: this one costs only 3.50 pounds, so I`m curious to see how it will perform. Because I started using concealer only recently, I`m better with the liquid ones, but I`m willing to try. The colors look pretty and easy to blend, but what got me was the highlighter, it looks so natural.
  • NYC IndividualEyes Midtown Mauve Eye Shadow
This is the first time I`m buying something from this brand. Although I have tons of eye shadows, this one looks and sounds different. First of all, I like the individual part and the fact that each color was selected to enhance your own eye color. Also, they put a small picture, so that idiots/beginners like me know where to apply each shadow:)) For 3.99 pounds you get 4 eye shadows, a primer and an illuminator, which is a fantastic bargain!
  • Collection Does it All Waterproof Mascara
I own 4 or 5 mascaras, which for me is a lot, but I recently realized that none of them are waterproof. As we`re finally seeing some sun here, I need to buy some products that won`t melt like Frosty. However, I have only a day off (when I can actually see the light and not be stuck like a vampire indoors), so I didn`t want something special. This was only 4.99 pounds and it promises to curl, give volume and condition your lashes.

  •  Vitamin E Shower Moisturiser and Exfoliating Body Scrub
I am completely and utterly in love with this brand. First of all, they don`t test on animals (which soon will be banned from what I heard). Their products are quite cheap and their quality is incredible. These products contain Vitamin E and are high in antioxidants, defending the skin against environmental damage. Also, they smell amazing and they will give you a good morning boost.

Because Superdrug is having a 3 for 2 on make-up, I saved 3.50 pounds. With less than 10 pounds I bought 3 make-up products, instead of just one:D The Vitamin E range was also on sale, get one and buy the second for half the price, so another 1.50 pounds saved.

FROM BOOTS:
  • Sinful Colors Nail Polishes in Soul Mate and Rise&Shine
I recently bought shoes in these colors, so I thought they would look great with a nice pedicure. When it comes to nail polish, I don`t really care if it`s Essie or a 50 p random brand, I want a nice shade. Because whatever I do or use, I end up chipping the polish, so why make a big fuss? These pastels look really nice and have cute names, so that`s a win.

  •  Vaseline Healthy Hands+Stronger Nails Hand Cream
A while ago, my husband used to work in construction, so I understood why his hands are in such a bad condition. But I work in retails, so why I have the hands of a handyman is beyond me. (can`t help the flow of the puns). I mean, I thought that if I apply face cream and body lotion, some might remain in my hands. But I guess I was wrong, so I needed some extra help. This cream contains keratin and Stratasys (or whatever that is), to help you soften the hands, smooth the cuticles and strengthen nails by 50%.

I got the nail polishes 2 for 3 pounds, saving 1 pound. The hand cream was also on sold for half price, 1.63 pounds instead of 3.27. Hey, every penny counts!

TK Maxx

I saved the best for last. This kit costs an astonishing 50 pounds, but I bought from TK Maxx for 9.99 pounds! Yes, I saved more than 40 pounds and got three high-end products less than some high street ones. Although it`s the first time I buy something from this brand, I`ve been lusting for their products for quite a while. I love the fact that these cosmetics are 100% natural and because they`re made from minerals they allow your skin to breathe while covering the imperfections. The kit contained a concealer, a foundation and a blush, to help you achieve a flawless complexion. I`m so excited to try these products and write a review!

So this was my little shopping spree. I still can`t believe how many products I got and how little I spent! If you found some good bargains, feel free to let me know!

  1. I have the exact same NYC Individual Eyes palette! Its so easy to use as you don't have to think about anything because it basically tells you what goes where! And the colours are so pretty and not too in-your-face which I HATE! Plus I have green eyes and the purple really 'pops' against them but not in a bad way! Great little post! :)
